2011... “Back To The Garden 1969” celebrated its third year. WOW!

Last summer, the band was back on the outdoor concert trail. Despite a season of rainy “Woodstock” weather, we enjoyed spreading the good vibes at concerts in Port Chester, Town of Mamaroneck, Katonah, White Plains, Somers, and Norwalk.

In August, we had hundreds of Baby Boomers dancing the night away at Club Getaway in Ct. and on Woodstock weekend, we rocked the crowd at Palaia Winery in NY. (You can see us performing a song from this concert on our website video page.)

The band ended the summer performing at a fantastic Labor Day Music Festival in Piermont NY, sharing the stage with a number of fine rock and blues acts.

In September, we were the featured attraction at a fund raiser for The Andrus' Children's Center in Yonkers, NY

In October, the band brought the Cardinal Spellman High School Class of 1972 and their families and friends “back to the garden” with a rousing reunion concert in the Bronx.

Pete Fornatale, legendary FM disc jockey and author of the Woodstock memoir “Back To The Garden,” joined the band on stage at several of our concerts. Pete emceed the shows and regaled audiences with his vast knowledge and personal anecdotes.

We had great outdoor shows at Coveleigh Club in Rye, and Brynwood Country Club in Armonk. In the fall, we returned to Echo Bay Yacht Club's Annual Pig Roast (it was also Gary's birthday celebration!) Throughout the year, we appeared at The Towne Crier Cafe, The Turning Point, Murphy's Law, Pete's Saloon, 12 Grapes, Lucy's Lounge, and Hat City Kitchen.

And who can forget Rich and Eleni's wedding? And Richard and Laura's birthday bash?
We were there, too!

We are so happy to have made so many new friends in our travels this year, as well as reuniting with many old faces from our past. We look forward to seeing you again soon, and meeting more new folks along the way.

The response to the band has been overwhelming, and for that we thank you... the fans.
We have tried to capture the music, but also the spirit, of the 60's. Judging from your reaction, I think we have succeeded.
To be continued...

Peace,
Gary, Mike, Larry, Bob, and Annie
